Economics Job Market Bootcamp in Tuscany
18-21 July 2025
Pitigliano (GR), Italy
Are you a final-year PhD student in economics preparing to go on the next academic job market? Looking for focused feedback on your paper, in a setting that encourages both academic growth and community building? Join us in the Tuscan countryside this summer.
Now in its sixth edition, the Economics Job Market Bootcamp is a four-day immersive workshop designed to support PhD students entering the job market. Hosted in a rustic venue near Pitigliano, the event combines research presentations, career-oriented training, and informal activities to help build strong peer networks.
Participation is free for selected candidates, thanks to the generous support of the UniCredit Foundation. Accommodation (shared rooms, very rustic), meals, and bus transportation from/to Bologna are fully covered.
What to expect:
Yes, this is the tractor you will drive.
This is not your usual conference. It's intense, collaborative, and fun.
